Apologies right off the bat. I am a new user to VST and I'm feeling kind of stupid. I was hoping it included basic drum tracks I could drag and drop into my arrangements since I am just a vocalist/guitarist. If it includes basic drum tracks I cannot find them. How can I get some basic percussion tracks/beats?
Thanks.

Cubase does not include any drumtracks. You can make your own drumstracks using midi or software like Fruity Loops or hardware drummachines.
You could also use drumloops which you can buy or download, and then import them to Cubase. I think this will limit your creativity however.. Make sure you set the bpm the same as the one from drumloop so you can copy and paste it in Cubase.
If you don't have access to real drums, I'd suggest using midi or Fruity Loops.
Hope this helps..

Thanks for the info. Maybe you can help me with my latest challenge. The system worked fairly well for a while but recently it will not let me hear what has been recorded. I'm not sure what happened. I have my M-Audio Delta audio card designated in the Audio set-up section of Cubase Audio options. But now I can not listen to tracks I have recorded or monitor while I lay new tracks. HELP.

Can you still hear the audio you are recording?
Check the mute-column, the column to the left of the audio tracks that says 'm'. Make sure your tracks are not muted. Also make sure you didn't push the solo button, on the upper left corner.
What did you change in the audio setup?

What version of cubase are you using? Try opening a new song and starting from scratch. Do you still have the problem?

Laynestaley and MillSy5,
Thanks. I have toyed with this enough that I'm pretty comfortable with the mute and solo buttons so those were ok. The version I have is 4.

I got on the puter late last night to see if I could figure it out. I pulled up an old song and sure enough it was fine AAAANNNDDD there were no pops or clicks. ???????? It was very late so I didn't lay down any new stuff. I just went to bed.

Do you guys have similar unexplainable anomolies with Cubase?
