Drum Tracks inside

Hi,

I recorded a drummer the other day and I would like to hear your opinions on the clean tracks, without any editting.
Cause if they suck ... you can’t polish a turd

It would be very nice if anyone of you could take a listen , I only uploaded about 20 seconds and these are the tracks:


OL = Overhead Left : AKG C1000
OR= Overhead Right : Shure SM94
Tom1= Shure SM 57 topside
Tom1(cond)= JTS 505 (condenser) backside
Tom2= Shure SM 57 topside
Tom2(cond)= JTS 505 (condenser) backside
Snare= Shure SM57 (pointed at center)
Snare2= Shure SM57 (pointed at ring)
Room= Studio Projects C1 ( 3 meters distance center)
Floor= SM57 (top)
Kick = Shure beta 52

Left and Right is from drummers point of view.
So from left to right : OL , hi-hat ,snare, tom1, tom2, floor, OR

You can't transfer them to an MP3? I don't think many people are going to bother downloading a program just to listen to your tracks.

i think your drums sound okay, except the snare mike has a LOT of spill from the rest of the kit which means it would be hard to mix, the kick drum is clear and defined, but i would say the best sound u have got is from the room mic, it sounds soo natural

The snare seems to be bleeding everywhere. Most of the track to me sound the same almost.

Try some diffrent placement not pointing at the snare or close to it.
