drum track in my guitar track

Hello Gurus!! maybe someone can help me...Whenever I create a drum track in midi synth, it gets copied to my guitar track in audio. So , even if I alter or delete the original drum track, I can still hear it on my audio guitar track. Any thoughts??

What's your sound card. It sounds like you have "what you hear" enabled as the recording device. IOW, when you record, you are not only only recording the new stuff, but everything else as well.

You need to set the recording input in your mixer applet to "Line In." (Assuming that is what your input is connected to.)
