Drum sounds on BR-532

Just got a 532 about a month ago. Machine works well but the internal drums sound a bit dry and sterile. Any suggested ideas on how to make them sound more alive. I've tried to add fullness by cranking the reverb...but it's not quite doing it.

Would a standalone drum machine like the DR-660 sound any better or do they all use the same loops?
