I just purchased an Mbox with ProTools to go with my Mac Powerbook and it works great. Now I really need a drum program but all I hear anyone talk about is FruityLoops. Unfortunately it's not compatible with a mac. I'm looking for a simple drum program without a million techno or tribal beats (I play rock, blues, jazz, etc.) that will work on a mac. What's out there? I've messed around with Reason a little bit but I don't need all the extra synths and stuff that come with it. What do you guys recommend? Thanks for your time. Peace...

Your best bet is to find a sampler that works in ProTools (RTAS or whatever they're called) and get some great drum samples.

I think BitHeadz put out a FL/Acid like program for the mac, but it was very very buggy. Im not sure if they've continued to work on its development.

Abelton Live might serve your purposes with appropriate loop libraries.
