Hey guys more of a request than a need for advice.
I'm going to start recording a song this week using guitar, bass, piano and adding vocals after that.
What I want to do is get it abosulutely tight using a click track, possibly a midi track for this, and then get someone to program midi drums for the song through whatever means they see fit.
I've got a few VST drum kits which would sound good with MIDI but even if someone out there would rather provide a pre-mixed wave file with a decent VST (possible made with an electronic kit or something like that) I would be very happy.
I'm looking to get a fairly finished result so the better the drum programming the better the song. If someone would go all out all record a real kit instead that would be great as well, possibly after doing a few demos to get the right feel for the song.
Anyway I know nothing can be done until the song is recorded and posted here but if anyone wants to register their interest in collaborating that would be great. The songs got a kinda Tool meets Muse feel to it, heavy/melodic chaos - around 5 mins long.
Cheers, Neill.
