Drum programing

Okay so this a new thing for me so setting it up is my main issue. I use Cubase LE 5 and the AKAI EIE audio interface. My issue is I can't get the sample sounds to play through the interface, It's using my laptop speakers. I'm not entirely sure how to set up the input output for this

Go to your sound settings and make your interface the sound output. Do the same in the Preferences menu in cubase. You may have to restart cubase for it to work correctly. Are you on Mac or PC?
