i am trying to record on my own using my PC. I've been using my Boss DR-550 and frankly am getting tired of the thin, lifeless sound that I am getting. I would like to record a real drum set but can't afford to buy a set for they are expensive and noisy in my little apartment. I would like to know if there are any pre-recorded real drum sound patch or samples that are editable in PC (kinda like DR-550 editing except with the real lively drum sound)? I've seen some of these drum sample cd's in Guitar Center. I'm not sure if I can use these samples to be edited with my recording.
