drum midi help!

hello everyone.

i apologize if this is a basic midi question, but here goes:

I have Cool Edit pro 2.0, and am wondering what people would recommend i do for recording drums midi-style using my yamaha keyboard.

I own Reason and Fruity Loops, and want to play the drums live multi-track along with the click. I do NOT want to loop.

any recommendations would help.

If you don't want to loop then just run a line in to your sound card from a line out on your keyboard. I never use midi either. If I record keyboard then I plug it into my Marshall and mic it up.
