Hey, I have a EUROTRACK UD2222FX - PRO mixer which is 8 channels....any way I am using it to record my bands demos and stuff...well i have not started since i dont have enough mics. I also play a little drums. Right now I have a Shure SM57 which everyone tell me to use on the snare, then a Sennheiser e835 which is meant for vocals (can it work for anything else) and then 1 behringer b-5 condenser mic. So i guess what i need is a kick mic (want pretty good kick sound) then the three tomes and prolly another con mic. I have $450 to spend. I want to be able to get the best sound possible for the money...I know there are always tricks and short cuts to get pretty good sound on a budget. Your help would be greatly apreciated...also can anyone tell me how to set me EQ's for the diffrent drums AKA snare, toms, kick....is there a standard? I am a guitar player by the way so thats why i really dont know to much, i can just do basic stuff on a kit. Please help me out...thanks alot.
