drum machines???

i need to know which drum machine out there has the most (real?) natural sound. also what is the best way to record a drum machine with the fostex fd8?
again w/the questions,

I've owned about 10 drum machines over the years,I currently have 3.They all represent some type of compromise compared to a real drum kit played by a human.The Question is which compromises can you live with if any?

I've been using a zoom234 for about a year and I'm very pleased with the results its fully programable and has midi and bass sequencing you can change the pitch of the drums and mix togeather 3 different kit styles and its simple to use straight out of the box, try my samples at http://ianbradford.freehomepage.com/page5.html
