Drum Generator Program

I´m a lonely musician, I want to compose some music and then give it to some friends so they can play it live, becouse I can´t play guitar, bass and drums at the same time!! I don´t really need like a Jamiroquai recording, but I want to have decent sound, that it doesn´t sound CHEAP...

So I got Fruity Loops becouse some on told me about it, and I was really easy to use, I could control a lot of things!!! I would have been really cool, but the final sound is like A COMPUTER SOUND it´s very void for me, it sounds cheap, so I tried to add it some reverb, and it was pretty good, but not enough for me, I would record the drums from a real drum set with mics, but I´m not really a good drummer :)
Anyway, I want better sound, something i can be proud of, does anyone knows any tip or some other proggie, I would appreciate it...
 
what kind of music are you recording and what samples did you use?....
 
Well, I´m working with just the sample that comes with the fruity loops!! I don´t really remember the name, but it was like the most real I found there... I´m trying to make some rock, like maybe some ska...
IF it´s a problem of samples can you advise me site for getting some?? Any tips??
I aprecciate your attention!!
