I'm moving to a condo and don't have room to store all my extra gear (I've already sold off two drum kits). Lots of drum gear for sale. I also have some SM57's ($45 each) & SM58's ($50 each), and several snare stands, cymbal stands, kick pedals, keyboard stands (too much to list - most going for $10 - $20).

I would expect buyer to pay shipping - since I think these are very fairly priced (I've never sold anything this way - I don't even have a Paypal account set up). So, if there is any interest, it will likely be a couple of weeks before I would be able to sned anything.

I'd rather have someone on this site get stuff (since this site has provided me with much info over the years - but if not, I'll trade everything into for a guitar (even though I already own waaaay too many axes)

Hi, what condition is the 16" Paiste 200 China in? Can you post a pic? A friend of mine is interested. Thanks, Todd.

Hey Mike,
I'm interested in a SM58 and maybe a kick pedal....what kind do you have?

I'm in!

Mikeh,
When you get a minute.
I am interested in several of the crash / splash cymbals.
I'm thinkng the 16"Zil med a and the 13" med a splash, plus the 10 inch sabian splash. I'd also like the 10" Yamaha snare and a stand if you have one.
You can contact me here or privately at tmenikos @academicplanet.com for hammering out the details.

thanks,
Tom

Thanks for your responses, I also got about a dozen private messages (I did not expect such a large reponse). I am making a list of people who showed interest in sequential order and plan to repsond to everyone within a few days.

Regarding your questions:

The Zildjians Hi Hats are Avedis line (basically A's) from about the early 1970's

No pictures available (I don't own a camera - not a Kidak moment kind of guy). The Pearl in a steel sheel with a black wrap (they had a Maple a Bronze and a Steel all part of the same line)

The 16" Paiste is slightly tarnished, but no cracks and no key holes

The mics may be gone (a local guy claims he'll buy them tomorrow) but if that falls through I'll e-mail people who expressed interest

The kick pedals are an old Ludwig Speed King ($10) and two single Gibralter Intruders ($25 each).

The boom I have is a single brace Pearl with a short boom. It's cool for a splash or some chimes, but would not be ideal for a 22" ride)

tmix - per your request I will send you a private email

The Dum Kat it the original with the first upgrade (I don't remember if it boots up as version 1.1 - I'll fire it up and find out (I still have the instruction manual).

I want to get the 8" A splash and the boom stand.

I reaaaalllly wish I had the money to get the 19" and 20" crashes along with that birch snare. Heh. I wouldn't mind that 18" Sabian HH crash either. I really can't spend that much money right now though, I have to live on tour. :(

What kind of shape is the $25 13" A splash in? How does it sound? Good?

The 13" is in decent shape, but it is almost 40 years old, so it has some tarnish and even with serious cleaning will never look new.

Regarding sound, it has a fairly quick decay with a somewhat trashy attack. It's not as harsh as a china, but with a sharp attack and quick decay it is surely at accent cymbal to be used tastefully in the right places.

mikeh, thanks for the reply, although very tempting, Im gonna have to pass for right now, I need to save up for another bass drum mic. Thanks again!

I've sent you a couple PMs about those timbale and that little snare.
Thanks,
Brandon

So.. about that splash and stand? How much?

I mean for the 8" A Splash and the Peral Boom you mentioned.

Also, got anymore info on that Black Panther? I couldn't find anything online about a birch one.

I can't tell ifhe's replying or not... I've sent a couple messages...

He's been online several times in the past few days, I don't understand why he's not replying....
