I have just bought Cakewalk Music Creator 5 which i am running on a laptop with windows 7 64 bit and I have a lindy USB interface cable and a realtek high definition soundcard.
I cannot get the music creator programme to recognise the guitar I connect via the USB ie it doesn't show as an in (or out) in the audio. I think that this may be to do with not having the correct driver. The cakewalk site lists quite a few. I have tried ASIO4All without success.
I am new to this type of recording having only just switched from analogue.
Can you please advise which driver I should use (poss with a link) or suggest where i am going wrong.
Any help is gratefully received.
Thanks

Does asio4all show lindy interface in the list? Is it enabled? Is your realtek card also enabled?

Thanks for replying. Yes the Lindy Interface is showing in the the list on the ASIO4All and so is the Realtek card. Sorry but I don't understand what you mean by is it enabled. Could you explain please
