Can anyone help me? I'm trying to install a MPU-401 compatible soundcard onto a 486-66Mhz. The card's from Midi Land Inc, I had put it in my 386 in '92, and now I want to install it in a 486 running Windows 95. The computer (2nd hand) came with Windows installed so I don't have the installation disk or a CD-ROM. The installation Wizard asks for drivers "msmpu401.drv" and "msmpu401.vxd" (and somewhere I saw I needed "win95_08.cab"). I tried using drivers from a Roland site, but the installation setup doesn't seem to want to take them. Any suggestions?

the first thing you should do is find a copy of WIN 95 (Or better yet win 98 or 2000) Without it youre destined for hassles. and you can get 95 cheap nowadays. like, give me your adress and Ill send you mine cheap. (but find one around there, save me the trip to the postoffice.)
