Drive speed limits?

I am considering buying the new Castlewood ORB drive, which costs just $249 for an external USB model or $199 for internal or external SCSI versions. Will the speed limitations of the USB port prevent me from recording 24-, 20-, or even 16-bit data in real time?

I’d appreciate comments from anyone who has experience with this device.

Thanks,

Use drives in RAID configuration for recording, there is just about no speed limit.
