The songwriting as such is fine. There's not a lot that's highly original lyrics . . . but that doesn't probably matter matter too much if you've written a song with the aim of having it rolling along while you cruise down the highway.

What matters more is how you treat the song.

There are three things that you might like to consider.

1 The song is, to my ears, a bit schizophrenic . . . it can't make up its mind whether to be a cruisy drive song or a more hard-driving song. In part this is due to the busyness of the kit, which could easily be tamed and tightened.

2 You've use quite a few effects on your voie, and you don't need to do that. You can easily get away with a more natural sounding voice because it has good character in its own right . . . it doesn't need to be disguised.

3 I feel some timing tension when the lead guitar does its breaks. This could be because of the kit activity.

Overall, I like the song, but I reckon it could do with a bit of tightening up.
