Dragonfire 81/85 pickups. Anyone use them? Have an opinion?

These dragonfire pickups seem to sound pretty good - very similar to the EMG's and much better than the harsh INF1's on my ibanez

I got $20 in ebay bucks so I could get the pickups for like $60 as opposed to like $150 for the EMG's - and I already have EMG's on my SG so maybe a slightly different pickup would be a good idea -


thoughts on dragonfire?

I got a set of these and put them in an ibanez RG42dx - now the guitar sounds AWESOME

in case anyone was wondering - they have a very slight tonal difference, I think it's a little more high-mid boost compared to EMG's - they sounds way better then the factory INF pickups
