How do DR Pro tripod stands compare to K&M?

Sorry if that was a little short. I'm ordering 12 stands, and after a month of waiting for my (Ultimate) K&M stands to arrive I've been told they have been discontinued. I've used some DR Pro stands over this last month but am unsure how they would compare to my original order. I've looked up and down the forums and web and have only found one or two references to the DR Pro Stands; they have been very obscure but positive. I was hoping someone out there might have more experience to share about them, be it good or bad.

I have a DR Pro boom mic stand here. It's worked well so far. Seems to be well made. No problems. I'd recommend them.

I scored a $9 TAMA stand off eBay that is by far the best stand in my group. All others are On-Stage, not worth much at all. The carry bag has more value.

DR pro are nice. I have a K&M (36"boom) that is a PITA with a hefty mic. It slolwly decending downwards . You have to literally crank the tightening handle real hard.
