It was sad to see that the Tascam forums has closed down.

I was wondering if anyone here can help me . I have downladed Audacity but I want to export my songs from my tascam . I have a USB cable but don't have the fast connection hub but I can get my songs thru the Windows media player .

Do I export a strereo track thru' WAV , someone mentioned you have to record it mono and pan it hardleft and hard right , what do they mean by this?

I am confused.

Record Your master. Then Export master to fat partition. The connect to pc and use Your windows explorer to copy the master to your hard disc. It is wav-format and stereo.

That is if You want to import tracks to DP-01. They have to be mono tracks.

i appricaite your help , I am thinking of buying the T Racks stand alone system to master everythng thru, would you say this is also a good investment/
