downloading newer drivers???

My sound card isn't being recognized by my version of vegas. Vegas 3 I think. A friend told me to download them from thier web site. Since it is Sony now where will I get the drivers?
 
Soundcard drivers come from the soundcard manufacturer's websites, not from the software tool's websites.

Yes. Alchuck is correct. The maker of the sound card (or the reseller of same in your PC) should have the latest drivers.

It also pays to have the latest update(s) for Vegas in case you never updated that since your purchase.
