good lovin music!

I think you've really outdone yourself this time. I'm glad you're proud of it

what software did you use to make this?

sounds like finale.

You need serious mental help. And I don't mean a once-a-week shrink. You need to go to like....Vienna...where they can study you day and night. A simple shrink can't help you. You need a team.

like a casio keyboard?

sort of....probably :D
I see you're new to Jordan's fame in the clinic....we've tried to give him some useful advice, but he won't come out of his bubble. He's kind of like Whacko Jacko ....without the chimp! :D

kinda just sounds like shameless self promotion ?

You're missing the point completely. This is the MP3 Clinic. Putting up your music isn't "shamelss self-promotion". Many people do that. That's what this section of the forum is for.

Jordan's problem (one of many) is that his "music" is so pathetically bad, and people have tried to give him advice in the beginning. But all he does is ignore it and keep putting up more of the worst crap anyone here has ever heard, without taking any of the advice. Every one of his threads starts with one song, and then when people either try to help him (which most have given up on), or criticize it (becuase it's so bad that nobody can believe he's actually serious), he just ignores it and posts about 15 more horrible pieces of noise while trying to TELL everyone how the latest one he put up is awesome.

Either he realizes how bad his crap is and is now just trying to torture us, or he has mental problems and thinks that, by telling us something is amazing, we'll actually believe him.

He used to get sympathy. Now, he's just seen as a pathetic clown starving for any kind of attention he can get.

...he just ignores it and posts about 15 more horrible pieces of noise while trying to TELL everyone how the latest one he put up is awesome.

But... but... Rami... This is the best one he's ever "exploded" out of him yet...

I like "Dance with the Night." It's original. Strange. I could see Jordan generating a true "cult" following, a la Jandek.

I can't see him generating anything except antipathy. There isn't the strength of purpose ordesire to control of Manson nor the charisma of Jones.
The cult may well develop but it would be a cult populated by absurdists who assume there is a subtle subtext or irony to the work.
A bit like the niave movement that embraced Jonathon Richman's late 70's/early 80's work - but then again there was a sincere charm to Johno's stuff and a self deprecation that further endeared him & it. He also had a track record of writing great songs (Road Runner - the last great riff?, She's Cracked, Hospital) and still managed sublime, if not subliminal, melodies in his odes to ice-cream vendors and roller coasters.
Instead we have a product of the communication revolution collecting navel lint and nasal hair, sticky taping it to library cards and sending out links to all & sundry expecting... well that's another story entirely.

Great post, rayc. I can't help but think of that line "Poetry makes nothing happen." At the very least, we can say that Jordan's music has prompted some passionate discussion. For that, I'm thankful. :D

Well whatever. A song is a song. yeah I edited this post. Yes the posting methods are weird. w/e

Alright, I'm coming clean here: Jordan, you are either a BRILLIANT satirist, or you have a delightfully quirky sense of rhythm, melody, composition. Either way, I am enjoying the shit out of your album. Thank you for this gift. I've got "Blink and Wink" going right now. "Glitter Girl" is my fave so far.
