Downgrading to a new set of speakers from Yamaha HS 80's

Hey, i currently have a pair of Yamaha HS 80's, i'm looking to downgrade to a smaller pair of monitors (the Hs 80's are too big and too loud, i live in an apartment now and its harder for me to get the levels i need). Does anyone have any good recommendations for a set of monitors to downgrade to ? i'm looking for something i can keep for as long as i can, probably something half of the 80's volume-wise and smaller.

Too big? Maybe, but they perform better at lower frequencies than smaller sized speakers. Too loud? Turn down the volume then.

You could look into HS50's... they were on sale, maybe still on sale.

Instead of Downgrading, why not upgrade? Buy a smaller set of higher quality monitors? Adam, Dynaudio, etc etc.

Also consider the new monitor line from Presonus. Definitely a contender for sure.

I also don't understand the too loud part. Seriously, turn them down.
