Hi, I have a track that starts at 65bpm and then doubles its tempo at 130bpm after a while. I already recorded rythm and harmonies in both sections and now I'm facing an issue :
I created a pattern in the 130bpm section and would like to use exactly the same rythm (ie playing at the same speed) in the 65bpm section.
so what I do is I copy the part in the 130bpm section and then paste it in the 65bpm section. When I play the copied part, it plays at half the speed it was before. fair enough you'll say, as I now play it at 65bpm.
anyway, what I am after is : I want to "double" the drum pattern so that it sounds the same as in the 130bpm. Is there a function that allows that operation under cubase ? (ie automatically moving the notes within the part, so that it sounds twice as fast without changing the tempo)
I thought of re-entering the whole pattern manually (ie moving the notes manually to half their relative time position in the part) but really I cant be arsed doing that...
The reason I'm asking is that I have other parts already recorded in the 65bpm section and they play well at 65bpm really....
any views on that ? (not sure my question was clear enough but...)
