But I've set up a 4 foot cube as an isolation booth. Yes, onyl 4 feet wide, 4 feet across, and 4 feet HIGH.
I'm using it only for guitar. It works out nicely actually as far as I can tell. I can sit down and have just enough room to play my guitar "comfortably" with a stereo micing setup, and my remote to my reel to reel (can't get out to mess with the controll onboard since then my whole "booth would collapse on me
)
1.Yeah I know it seems lame and a little inconvinient, but it'll do the job, right?
2.How important are bass traps for my accoustic guitar?
3. I've got my fiberglass how wrapped well in bed sheets. They are definitely breathable. But is it a danger to be in such a small space breathing, even if they are wrapped?
4. (slightly off topic) How far away do you place your mics when you record guitar? This is kind of important since my booth is kinda limiting.....
