I already posted this in another forum but then thought it might do well to post it here as well.

I just went out and bought an MP3 program for 30 bucks made by AudioCatalyst. After I bought it, I found out that the same program is available on the net as a free DEMO! That's right, the program they're selling in stores is a DEMO. On top of that, They've been bought out by RealMusic and Real says they're not going to support the product and have no plans for future upgrades or bug fixes. In other words, it looks like they simply wanted to eliminate the competition. They even have a "dummy" forum up on the web for AC, but there doesn't seem to be a forum administrator or anyone from Real who even looks in on it. Most of the posts are by guys who are screeming mad because they got suckered into buying a program that was already absolete before they bought it. They still sell it at the store by the way....
