Univalve & Avatar Speaks
The majority of my time in my humble studio is spent working with other artists...they play, I listen, push buttons and set up microphones and stuff.
From time to time, I do get the urge to work on some personal projects. I'm a pianist, I don't always have a qualified drummer on hand to work out my tunes with. Here it comes and before you say it, I already have a complete and "then some" SONOR kit here at the studio. They're big, pretty, shiney and loud but, I suck at playing them. I'm secure with that...I know my limitations.
I'm looking for a comparison for ease of use and realism between "Drums on Demand" and "Drumkit from Hell". I really don't want to take the time to muck with MIDI programming and have played around a little with ACIDized wave files and like the flexibility of click and drag audio for the purposes of writing and getting ideas down quickly.
I promise...for my final product(s), I'll get a human to sit and play.
Any comments?
