yeah

i'm feelin it. i can tell that you are reading off of the page. if you remember the rhyme verbatim, and you spit it, it will sound a whole lot better because you know what your are about to say and your vocal adjustments(dynamics, delivery etc...) will sound a lot better. i read off of the paper too, but i know when ever i have something down by heart that it is waaay better. you can concentrate more on your performance in your recording and less about bieng able to read the next word when you already know it. keep it up

Good Lookin once again Jug

Yo kid....i wasn't readin it off the paper...thats the funny thing.
Seriously...i guess it's just my delivery is off thats all. I know that rhyme and a few others by heart...practice makes perfect ya know? So thats what i'm doin now...my mom is runnin those pics by the house in a little bit so ...get your tools ready kid time to go to the choppin block...lol Aight kid peace and hold it down

Peace Love Respect,

not bad...

I like the way the flow matches the beat. I could see clearly where you were going with it, but I think at times you may have gotten a bit overwhelmed or wordy and gotten thrown off just a tad. Naturally I know the purpose of the post is simply for feedback. And besides I have heard some other things from you and know how you coming so I am certain you'll be putting some more work into that. But nice beat and appropriate vox as well. I can dig it.

Thx Bmorris

Now thats Love kid....i can appreciate that. Yeah i am workin hard on gettin my shit together. I know i'm not the best but with hard work...i'll get to where i'm goin someday. Most of Ya'll cat's on this post are really helpful to me and i appreciate everything. From cha
to Jug ya'll cat's is cool and that's my word. That beat was sick though huh? that was the "dome brothers" beat Lee mirans to be exact that shit was so i hot i did get excited when i spit to it...
lol ...i've never really had any "real production" so it's new to me as you could see if you listened to my other songs i only had some instumentals i downloaded. But like i said with the help from cat's on here i am getting the tools i need to become a good emcee. Peace Love Respect,

stick with it

stick with it. you have something going on. just remember that you can't please everybody all the time. you can pick your favorite artist that's making millions and someone out there will say they suck. some people you just can't satisfy. you will want to please everybody, because you want everybody to like you, but then in the end you won't be you. just remember to do you but do you good. a good rule of thumb is, when you record something and listen to it, ask yourself will you spend 10 dollars for it? if it came on the radio would you say "damn, this kid is hot"?
being an artist you will neither like your own song or dislike your song more than the next man. it's good to get outside views because those are the people who will buy your stuff, but sometimes you have to take risks and make people like you, stay in their ear. the radio does it everyday. money makes a lot of artists lose themselves, but at the same token it can help an artist strive for perfection. if you are doin it for money then you have to listen to your customers, but if you are doin it for you, then do you. i'm just ramblin, what i'm trying to say is strive for perfection, but don't lose yourself.
