Dogs tone (Pink Floyd cover)

Hey guys, I'm working on a cover of Pink Floyd's classic "Dogs" and need your help in deciding which tone is best for the middle solo:

As I'm sitting here wearing one of my Pink Floyd shirts, and Animals being one of my favorite albums, I'd have to say that the Dry/Lo-Gain sounded the best.

The volume of both tracks is different. On my sound system the dry/lo-gain sounds better.

This ^^^^
The dry sounds better because the high gain is brittle and a little piercing, I would suggest balancing the mixes for a better comparison in tone.
