Does this keyboard stand exist?

I'm looking for a dual-tier desktop keyboard stand and not having much luck.

I have this L-shaped desk:

http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/s...d=-1&productId=96674&cmArea=SC2:CG33:CL161508

Right now, I have a cheap Yamaha keyboard on the section of the desk where the monitor is sitting in the picture. I just purchased an M-Audio ProKeys 88 and due to a lack of space, want to keep both keyboards on the desk.

What I'm looking for is an angled two-tiered stand to place on top of my desk. Does anyone know if they make something like this? Thanks.

Make it yourself!

That's a similar configuration to the one homestudioguy made. He has a tutorial online at http://mysite.verizon.net/homestudioguy/id18.html

I also have some DIY resources and tutorials online at http://plans.thefrankes.com/Contents.aspx?cat=1&type=product,tutorial

You can probably make something perfect with just a half sheet of plywood. Some lumber yeards will even cut all the pieces to size for you.

Better make sure that desk is sturdy enough to hold all 88 keys -- especially if you play with enthusiasm!

Couldn't you just use that shelf on the other side of the desk? I've never seen a stand made for desks but it seems like it would be extremely simple to make something.

The other side of the desk has my Tascam 2488 on the main surface and my computer monitor and speaker monitors on the shelf.

As far as making it myself...I'm not at all handy.

I'll keep searching. I have room for the ProKeys 88 on the desk surface, but I also want to add the Yamaha above it somehow. Maybe something that clamps onto the back of the desk?

Thanks for the input!

Looks just about right to me if you have $130 laying around. Again, be sure the table is strong enough for all that stuff -- you don't want it all to come crashing down! A lot of this kind of office furniture isn't really but to carry much load. My 76-key controller weighs about as much as a small elephant, so an extra octave probably put you up into the mid-sized pachyderm terriroty...
