Does this FireWire card have a TI chipset?

You can read that page as good as any of us (I assume) and I see no mention of who makes the card on there or a real model number. Why don't you go with a card known to use it like a Siig or Pyro?

Fair enough, just wasn't sure whether or not any model numbers or anything like that signified it to be a TI chipset

Newegg will tell you in the specs section. +1 for something like a Siig.

WARNING: That's a 5V PCI card. Most new motherboards use 3.3V PCI and have slots that won't physically fit that card. Look for a newer universal card (might be described as PCI-X compatible, but make sure you don't confuse your acronyms---that means "PCI eXtended", not "PCI Express", which is a totally different kind of card altogether).
