Does PRo Tools LE work with any M-Audio Devices?

I can get my hands on pro tools LE. But I want to know is there a peripheral device I can use other than the MBox or Digidesign 002. Before I buy it! Bootleg... I know I can import audio formats and edit and mix. But I want to know Is there another device that I can use to drop one track if I need it.
 
Protools LE wont boot without a digidesign interface connected, you would have to buy M-Powered if you want to use an audio device that is M-Audio, as the backend drivers for pro-tools is different...

Basically Pro-tools installs its own hardware drivers... Then wont boot untill the device its expect is connected, the M-powered one will accept different devices then LE, I would think it very hard to fool those drivers...

Dont think its worth the risk of your money... :(
