This may sound like a dumb question but there has been a lot of discussion ont eh BBS this wek about the beinfit or 16, 24 or 32 bit recording and 44.1 48 96 and 192khz´sam. rate.
It has been said that software (such as Digital performer) processes 24 bit recorded audio in 32 bit resolution for effects and processing. MOTU makes this clear on their website that DP3 and even their smaller "AudioDesk" application processes in 32 bit. I have looked and looked through my Logic Audio Platinum v 5 program manuel, on the website, and searched through the program itself looking for the phrase "32-bit" and have not found it anywhere. Does LAP process audio in 32 bit resolution after the audio has been recorded?
If so, do I have to set it do do so or is it just automatic?
Thanks guys!
