Like on youtube there is a bunch of tutorials how to mix.
I know if I ask what do you guys do to mix vocals i will probably get shot in the head,
lol :P so I was wondering if anyone has a video on youtube if the process of them mixing ... doesn't have to be step by step, but just like a screen recording of you doing your thing, and maybe announcing what your doing at the moment.
Thanks,
Jovi.

No.Not really of the quality that you may want.

But there is this one person who has some video's of me that keeps me sending them $500. a week just to keep them out of the tabloid TV shows!

Check out Bruce Miller's (free) online audio courses: The BAM Audio School

Grammy-winning engineer helping out morons like us so all the old-school techniques don't get lost in the 'everybody-has-their-own-recording-studio' world.

I like this video of his: The BAM Audio School

Shows him during the first 10 minutes of a session...

:)

Keep in mind sicko, most editing in Cubase is always non-destructive. You can cut up your 'Events' and raise or lower certain sections gain in a track, before resorting to compression for level control. You will almost always want to use some compression on vocals, but not necessarily the best way to perform 'volume' control. In Cubase, you always have the original 'un-tampered' track. Unless you 'bounce' it and replace the original.
