Taking the slow road
just wondering, it seems like a good price, but a good deal??

I owned one and very quickly sold it. Sounded very brittle and didn't take eq well at all. Horrible mic IMHO.

If you get a Nady for OH, go with the CM-90. Not a lot of low frequency response, but you can make up for some of that with placement and the rest by miking everything else. You will need a very good set of mics on everything else, though.

For anything other than drum overheads, save your money and get something better than any of the Nady SDCs, IMHO.

ok, thanks, always looking for surprises in the affordable category ;)

CM-90's not too bad as a drum OH, I've also used it for spot micing on acoustics. I'm about to try it on my wife's flute, no idea how that'll go. I'll let ya know.

But yeah, for 40 bucks...

i alsohave the scm 900 for $50, but haven't used it much, but i leave it up even tho it's a bit humid here...
