Does anybody have the Digitech GNX2

Does anybody have the Digitech GNX2 and if so, what do you think of it. Can you use it similar to the POD(direct recording)? I am looking for an effects processor that i can plug into my fender hot rod as well as use direct (cabinet modeled) signals. Thanks...
 
I have a digitech amp modeler and multifx and It sounds great. better result than the pod.
