Yes we talked about subs already but i want to know if anyone has auditioned BM9S, BM10S or BM12S subs?

Cause i heard good stuff about those so i decided to check out BM9S.I was very dissapointed! The band Fear Factory uses very quick double bass so its a good challange for a subwoofer.
All i can say is that BM9S was muddy for 625Euros!

Do you think BM12S would be overkill for my 3x4x3m (WDH) room (no bass traps yet)?
The thing is i "have" to buy it if i want to hear it, cause our dealer doesnt have subs in stock except BM9S.

Was it really the BM9 that was muddy? Or your room.... Or how you set it up....

I use Dyn BM6A.

I also tested in with BM6A in a small demo room.I set crossover on 60Hz and i played with gain.Retailer seti it up...

Do you really need a sub with the BM6A? I find them to have plenty of bass to mix with. It's real tight on the low end.

Granted it doesn't thump the house, but plenty and very accurate bass to mix with.

You try changing your room around, save you a lot of money on the sub.

I dont mix.Im playing back CDs and watching movies.I need sub yes even for music but i need it sharp and accurate as bm6a are.

Crossover will be approx 60Hz so it will mostly reproduce kick drum.I need it sharp, fast and detailed.

Im sure if the sub will be good for music it will also be good for movies which are second priority to me. :)
