I was just wondering if a Proper Keyboard makes Professional like beats, Like the beats Mr. Sol be making. Or is there other equipment i need, I don't know how to use it, i know, BUT i might be able to find someone later, or maybe i can learn, i know i won't learn BY the snap of my fingers. But just wondering if a Good keyboard will do that.

Hot, listen to these I put together using only my keyboard, one sampler and one sound module:

I am a trained drummer and took up piano at 7 years of age but drums at 5 years of age and when all this technology shit came along, I thought how am I going to play all those new dance beats with one kit, so I had to relearn the drums on keyboard. Try it, you'll be surprised at how quick you'll pick it up.
Good luck pal.

Yes, proper keyboards make professional beats. It is obvious that this is the case as you might want to buy one and let a proper keyboard-guy professionally program the beats that a drummer-guy would do if he only had a drum.

Sol doesn't use a lot of equipment... I think he uses a KORG KARMA and a older version ACID to prgramming. I don't know if he's upgraded or added anything to his setup but he was doing damn good with what he had.

Don't feed the troll.

THIS GUY!!!!!

UHHHHHH...... This question wasn't for u REG, it's for those who care for music.

Well you don't need a whole keyboard just to make beats..

You might want to look at a drum machine.. Like the Dr 202.. It's got the full set of roland greats 808 909 ect.. Plus they come with a small sequencer for doing beats. You may also want to look at a Korg EM1. If programmed right you can get some good hip hop/ r&b grooves going. Not to mention the effects are easy to use and the sound is very clear. I own one and don't rely on anything else for drums..
