Do I Need A Wordclock?

Hi All!

(lots of questions recently) As the title says, will I need a wordclock with this setup;

Focusrite 18i20 into PC via USB 2.0
Behringer ADA8000 into 18i20 via ADAT

If I remember correctly, I should be able set the ADA as the master sync and all will be well, but I just want to check before I go ahead and buy it all!

As long as you can send sync to the Focusrite from the ADA.
Or just run them both of the computer's internal clock.
 
I would send wordclock from the Focusrite to the Behringer rather than the other way around. It doesn't make that much of a difference, but it's said to be optimal to run converters on their internal clocks, and I assume you'll use the inputs on Focusrite more than the ones on the Behringer. And although you could sync in either direction through the ADAT connection the BNC wordclock connection on the Focusrite appears to be out only.
