Do I need a new soundcard?

If I am going to be getting a Digi-001 factory and putting it on my computer which has a soundblaster live. Do I need a better sound card? It looks like you get a deluxe sound card with the digi-001...Whats the deal??

The Digi 001 is a sound card, with a breakout box that houses all the i/o.
