Do I *need* a breakout box with a Delta 66?

My friend has just the Delta 66 PCI card and he'll let it go for 100. It doesn't come with anything more. Can I still record and all that with just the card? Also, can I download the drivers and software to get it working?
 
you NEED the box to use the 4 analog I/Os. The only connection you can use on the card it's self is the S/PDIF....kinda pricey at 100
 
If I were you I would snatch up the Delta-66 for $100 and then go on eBay and buy an OMNI Studio. Or actually I would buy the OMNI studio first and then buy the Delta-66. It might be difficult to find someone that wants to sell JUST the Omni.
 
walk away... somthin just don't sound right... considering the breakout box is sold with the 66, why doesn't he offer that to you also?? d'hawk
 
Pass on it. Find a 66 with the omni and with the pci cable. I don't know that I trust usb yet.
