I have been offered a Fostex DMT-8vl to buy second hand, I currently also have a Yamaha QY700 that I'm using to write backing tracks. Does anyone have any advice on the pro's and con's of the Fostex, also what other equipment I'll need to purchase to download to when the harddrive is full ( bearing in mind that I have no home computer) for example minidisk etc. I will be recording live drums, guitars and vocals and adding the QY700 backing tracks also.
