I've read a lot of good things about this product, i want something similer i can have installed in my desk. (Im currently using a entry level behringer mixer, but i have to take it out every week or so as i use it at band)

Anyone any thoughts, i know most people say you cant notice differances in preamps but i have noticed the behringers pre's to be quite noisy wtih my LDC.

Waste of money or worthwhile investment?

I am not sure about what you mean about installing it in your desk, but the DMP3 is a quieter, more pristine preamp than the Behringer.

It can be a table top pre or you can mount it in a utility tray rack. I have 2 DMP3s racked side by side.

In the "extremely budget-friendly" category, it's really one of the only reasonable options out there, IMO.

I just meant leaving it on/in my desk rather than having to pull out cables every few days as i do with my mixer. Sounds good, i found one going for £70 on ebay, may have to go for it.
