You know, I havent always agreed with the things Alan Hyatt or Studio Projects has said or done.....for that matter, Stephen Paul has said some things here that may have been over the top....but the guy was a genius and deserves respect......

DJL, i dont know you, but your "net persona" is an asshole and knows little or nothing about respect.....is that really you?.....

a thread dedicated to Stephen's memory should stay that way and not be just another opportunity for you to attack Alan......

I wonder if he has the guts to apologize.

It was a big mistake to make such a bitter post DJL.

Gidge-thank you for redirecting the anger that DJL's latest "attention whore" trick brought out. The thread about Stephen deserves to STAY about Stephen.

DJL-fuck you for being such an inconsiderate assmunch. Unfortunately, getting your own thread over your latest escapade probably gives you a little boner, because you're getting the attention you crave.

This one's gonna backfire, though. You just exposed yourself for the petty little bitch you truly are.

" " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " ditto ditto ditto ditto ditto ditto......................................

Gidge,

Mate, many thanks for helping keep the other thread on track.

The sad thing is, that when I started it, I already expected DJL to use it exactly as he did.

Peace to those who deserve it.

On top of being a jerk, DJL, has problems making basic arguments. He's blinded by his inexplicable hatred for anything even vaguely related to PMI.

DJL, I used to hope that you were just obsessive about Alan, but otherwise basically OK. Well, if that's true, that obsession has caused you to become irrational. Your paranoid ideation has reached the level that calls for professional intervention. Get your head examined. What you wrote was cruel, vindictive, inappropriate, and in fact, lower than a snake's belly in a wagon rut.-Richie

In respect and in memory of the deceased, let's now just let this lie so that the words of condolence and admiration on the other thread will once again come to the fore. I do not know enough about the gentlemen who unfortunately passed away, because of my own lack of audio awareness, but he must have been quite a remarkable person, in many ways, and it is a great thing that people on this forum have chosen to call our deserved attention to the death of a great man who obviously will be missed.

May God bless him, his family, those who loved him, and those whom he loved.

Here's the link to the thread that the above people are talking about for those of you that don't know... take a look at the thread and you'll see I did nothing wrong.

DJL,you are an ass-hole!I could mic you up with radio shacks
lowest mic and yer"I HATE ALAN HYATT" shit would still sound the same.
Yer a low down post count slut!(I have never used one of those,so I cant say.WTF)

DJL,

I re-read the post and honestly my first impression (based on previous threads regarding your dislike of Alan Hyatt) was the same as everyone else and I took it as sarcastic and crass.

It may have been an honest question on your part and optimistic about the raising of money for the arthritis foundation...I do my best not to judge people.

IF I had to guess one way or another based on your past I would still have to go with my first impression.

Fortunately I don't have to make that call but I think over time we will all have a pretty good idea what you meant.

Not judging people is a noble aspiration and well spoken of in the Good Book but so is using discernment.

After DJL passes away, his family (who, of course, won't need any money) should donate the profits for all of DJL's creations and inventions to some worthy cause of my choice. Assuming he has any creations and inventions that earned a profit, that is.

dammit man get a sense of perspective...a sense of priority. what are the important things in life?

sure as hell not microphones.

a guy just died and, whatever your intentions, you couldn't resist a cheap shot at hyatt. hello? hey maybe your question was a genuine one, we can only go on your usual behaviour, but even so what the hell is your reason for wanting to talk shit like that when people are trying to send in their condolences? how about some symapthy...a note about stephen paul?

no, you wanted to talk money. did you think he was going to turn around and tell you he was handing over all the money? the guy runs a business and if he wants to make a donation in due course when the mic's being sold then that's great and he should be encourgaed to do so! but what the hell business is it of yours - it's not like you're gonna buy the thing anyway because of where it's come from!

as i said in another thread. you have a lot of anger and resentment and that's not all your fault. spend time in counselling working out why you're so sad...did you fall out with your parents a lot or do you not have many friends? why can't you function as part of a human social group?

sorry everyone for venting. i hope this board gets back to what it does best soon and with a renewed sense of perspective and context in the real world.

Come on guys, don't make it bigger than it is.
DJL made a mistake, like everybody does every now and then.

And hey DJL, your turn now, just say the magic word "sorry" and let's forget about it.

Alan isn't such a bad guy and he makes great mics like the B1. :D

This has to be a new low even for you, DJL. I had pretty much decided not to take any more of your bait in the mic forum and let your dumbass comments twist in the wind by themselves. This one I will not let pass. I would tell you to go fuck yourself, but that doesn't seem to quite cover it anymore. You are a complete waste of bandwidth, and if your ISP had any sense at all, they would cancel your account.

he didnt friggin do anything, lay off his back.

He asked a question, so just shut up.
