DIY shrinkwrap

Im looking for a way to shrinkwrap jewl cases at home. I have found some shrinkwrap machines and shrinkwrap guns on ebay. I will being doing about 1000 cds. Im wondering if anyone has every done this before. Im sure it will take some time but Im not too worried about it.

What I have done in the past is bought clear plastic bags that are the same width as the cd. I put the cd in the bag and then seal the bag with a bag sealer (two hot metal pads that squish together) and trim off the excess plastic.

I've used the roll and gun before at a software store. It shouldn't take you more than about 10 seconds a piece once you get going.
