Hi all, spent the day working on a pedastal for my M3500 board so I thought I'd share the progress. It's made from 3/8 plywood and 2 X 4's. Sill need to add the end caps, a small desk with patchbays on the right side, and a shelf above the meter bridge, wheels and trim. Next up is a double bay rack and a stand for the tape machine. Can post more in process pics if anyone's interested.

Day 2, pedastal

Not much done on the pedastal. Added some moulding, wheels, power supply mounts and did a bunch of sanding. My friend came by and did a check fit of the board, so far so good.

Day 2, 2 bay rack

Just started on the rack. Didn't get to far 'cause my bad back started telling me it was time to quit. I have about $160 in wood, hardware, paint and this includes "parts" for the tape machine stand I still have to build. Don't think that's to bad considering the cost is for 3 pieces ($45 just for 12 wheels!)
