DIY 1176 parts

A friend and I are putting together a Gyraf 1176. Actually we'll probably make several of them, but I just had a few questions regarding parts.

First off, I'm having trouble finding a source for these parts, and some help or direction would be very appreciated:

-SIFAM AL-29 VU-METER W. BACKMOUNT
-LUNDAHL LL5402 OUTPUT TRANSFORMER
-LUNDAHL LL1540 INPUT TRANSFORMER
-POLYESTER CAPS:
2X 220p 5mm
22n 5mm
4X 100n 5mm
2X 220n 10mm
3X 1u 15mm

Is there any reason why you would want to or have to use polyester caps?
Is there any difference between polyester caps and polypropylene caps?
