I hope I am posting this to the right area - Im alittle desperate right now and crazed...
My setup is a little unconventional I guess - I am using a Mackie vls 16 to run all of my instruments into an Mbox to record to ProTools LE. I play Bass, Guitar and Keys . I also use a Lexicon MultiEffects unit and a ART DPS II mic/instrument Preamp .( mostly for Vocals and Bass ) I am using Behringer Truth Monitors that I have running from the Mackie - and I route the output from my Mbox into channels 13-14 of my mixers to the submix for monitoring.
( I am using a Music XPC C1 512MB Ram with Windows XP )
Anyways...
All of this worked fine until last night any tracks that I created and record enabled in ProTools distorted with a strange buzz. They are recording that way now as well.
The only thing I can think of (after checking all of the signal levels on everything in use) is that I am working my way thru a ProTools book ,( Protools 6.4 -Ignite) and was learning how to configure the I/O and maybe some configuration may have caused this.
If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated - of course this happened in the middle of a bunch of projects that I have to get done....
Thanks in advance and sorry if this is in the wrong area.
