hi,
my use of CEP is a little different: i use it for spoken word only. it was great when i used it on my PC, but lately i have been using it on a lap top, and i am not very happy. first of all, it has "dirt" on the tracks ... oldsters like me might have said there was a loose tube in by gone days! lol. that's bad enough, but it sporadically distorts my voice after about 5 or 6 minutes so that it is unusable. that's un-nerving because when i re-record, i pre-occupied with the question, "will it do it again?"
i am almost computer illiterate, so please be simple in your response, which i REALLY appreciate. i have to solve this problem asap.
