I hadn't used my mackie bored for a few months, and recently came back and have it plugged in.
I have 2 profiles on my computer, one for recording and one for normal computer use. I also have 2 HARDWARE profiles.
now, the hardware profiles do not affect this issue.
on my "non-recording" profile, ALL playback of ANY sounds (windows sounds, Vegas, fruity loops, windows media player, etc.) come through distortede and just messed up soiunding really. haha. almost like a huge high end boost is on it or something.
on my "Recording" profile, (even if i just log off and log onto the other one - no restart or anything), it works fine.
anyone know what could cause this? perhaps it's a proccess running? I can't figure it out...ha
